Shahrukh Khan booked for dancing with ‘skimpily clad’ girls

Shahrukh Khan has reportedly landed himself in a legal soup for dancing with ‘skimpily clad’ girls at a function in Kerala earlier this month.

According to agency reports, the police in Kerala registered a case against Shahrukh Khan today for violating provisions of Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act 1986.

Shahrukh, who was in Kerala on December 4 in connection with the inauguration of the showroom, had performed the popular number ‘Chamak Challo’ from his recently released movie Ra.One, along with some skimpily clad artistes. Continue reading →

Shahrukh Khan refuses to comment on Anna Hazare

Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan today said any process for the eradication of the corruption, including enactment of Lokpal bill, would be a right thing to pursue. Shahrukh, who is currently on the promotional tour for the upcoming film Don 2, however steered clear of controversy by refusing to comment on Anna Hazare.

When asked about Anna Hazare, Shahrukh Khan said that it was not the proper platform. “The process to eradicate corruption is a must for every one. This is a very important aspect, whether movement against corruption, act or a bill. It would be beneficial in the long term. I do not want to say anything on anybody,” SRK told PTI. It was after playing negative characters in films like Baazigar and Darr that Shahrukh Khan rose to fame at the start of his career. Now, he returns as the bad guy again in this week’s release Don 2.

“Evil or devil, black or little grey characters, be it in books, stories, films or television, have some sort of an attraction. I started with theatre and there was nothing like a heroic character. There was a central character or an important character. I have played good and bad on stage. In fact the fresh buzz is all about Kareena Kapoor, who won’t be part of the Ra.One sequel anymore, according to TOI reports. If sources are to be believed, Shahrukh Khan is seeking a new actress in place of Kareena Kapoor because team Ra.One wasn’t thrilled with the time she gave to promote the film.

The film is the sequel to 2006_s Don. The film has Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta, Kunal Kapoor, Boman Irani,etc in pivotal roles. Bollywood super star Hrithik Roshan has played a cameo in this film.

The buzz is that the film is hitting the screens on December 23 on the occasion of Christmas in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil languages in both 2d and 3D versions. Shahrukh Khan & Leo DiCaprio to star in Hollywood Flick

Yes, it is official now. In a major Bollywood-Hollywood collaboration and a casting coup of sorts, Indian Mega Star Shahrukh Khan has finally been roped in by producer Martin Scorsese to star in his Hollywood thriller titled “Xtreme City” alongside with Hollywood heartthrob Leonardo Di Caprio.

The movie “Xtreme City” is believed to be set against the backdrop of Mumbai’s notorious mafia underworld. It will be directed by the Hollywood legendary screenplay writer/director Paul Schrader.
